The Neustadt Academy was launched in 2022 with a single goal — to train our people to the company’s internal standards, so that one consistent design signature runs through every project. A strong bureau begins with a strong design school. Neustadt runs its own training center: we grow specialists to our own design standards and open the door to students of specialized universities — from their first internship to a permanent position. We develop not only engineers across all disciplines but also architects, and as a general designer — future lead engineers and lead architects who run projects and coordinate consultants.
Mentoring, reviews of real projects and unified BIM standards. A specialist grows within the company — from junior to lead in their discipline.
We take students for study and pre-diploma internships. Tasks come from live projects, with feedback from lead engineers. The best are offered a permanent position.
We work with leading Saint Petersburg universities in construction and engineering — joint internship and talent-development programs.
Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering — study and pre-diploma internships
St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (Polytech) — internships and traineeships
At Neustadt, qualifications grow right in the course of work — for both engineers and architects. Alongside real projects, an employee receives training in their field: design reviews, unified BIM standards, current codes and adjacent disciplines. And as a general designer we also develop coordination skills — the path leads to the role of lead engineer or lead architect. A specialist grows inside the company rather than looking elsewhere.
First tasks on live projects under a mentor — engineering or architectural. Bureau standards, BIM basics and the regulatory framework.
An engineer or architect handles parts of a discipline independently under a lead's supervision. Training deepens the profile and broadens the toolset.
Full responsibility for their discipline — engineering or architectural. Adjacent disciplines, expert review, special technical conditions and NFPA.
Runs a discipline or the whole project and coordinates consultants. As a general designer, we grow our own lead project engineers and architects.
You learn by working — and grow as a specialist: engineer, architect or project lead.
On hiring, every employee additionally signs a training agreement. Upskilling stops being a one-off initiative and becomes a mandatory part of the job — this keeps the whole team (both engineers and architects) up to date on current codes, standards and design technologies, and gives everyone a clear development path.
